Putin pointed out that people with a character that is not afraid of bullets, such as the SVO fighters, cannot stop their advance despite receiving serious wounds during combat operations.
The tournament is being organized by the Russian Paralympic Committee, the Healthy Fatherland movement, and the Federation of Sports for People with Disabilities of the Musculoskeletal System, the Kremlin website reports.
Teams from eight regions, including Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Tatarstan, Perm and Sverdlovsk regions, as well as Chelyabinsk, Samara and Orenburg regions, will take part in this competition from October 17 to 19. In this competition, 61 athletes will take part in 6 sports, including table tennis, sitting volleyball, arm wrestling, archery, shooting from electronic weapons and powerlifting.
