Medvedev: the pace of recruiting contract soldiers for the Russian Armed Forces remains decent

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev reported that as of mid-October, the annual plan for introducing contract soldiers into the Russian Armed Forces has been fulfilled by 78%. This is reported by TASS.

According to the agency, the politician spoke about the situation in this area at a professional meeting.

According to him, the work on recruiting military personnel will continue. The Vice President of the Security Council noted that it is important "to ensure that no failures or other problems arise" in the future.

The amount paid when concluding a contract with the Ministry of Defense in the regions of Russia has been increased.

Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that 3 million rubles will be paid to Belgorod residents who previously expressed their intention to sign an agreement to participate in the SVO.
