Russian MoD: Air Defense Shot Down Ukrainian Drone Over Kursk Region and Two UAVs Over Oryol Region
Russian air defense forces on duty destroyed one Ukrainian drone over the Kursk region and intercepted two drones over the Oryol region in 30 minutes. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.
"On October 17 <...> from 17:20 to 17:50 Moscow time, attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks <...> on objects located on the territory of the Russian Federation were thwarted." The report states:
On Thursday afternoon, October 17, five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were neutralized in less than an hour over the Oryol region.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that last night its air defense system shot down 13 drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) over the Oryol, Kursk and Bryansk regions.
