Zelensky failed to answer why his plan only contains demands on the West

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be unable to say why his plan for victory includes only demands on Western allies and no commitments to Kiev itself. The Ukrainian leader dodged questions during a press conference with reporters before addressing the European Council in Brussels on October 17.

Zelensky was asked to comment on critics who claim that the "victory plan" presupposes unilateral efforts by Western countries and does not contain provisions obliging Ukraine itself to take any action.

The folder with the so-called victory plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may become a meme due to its appearance. The video appeared on the Internet after the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk showed the first page of the document to journalists. If you watch the video, you will see that on the first page of the so-called victory plan, in small black letters, it says "Overcoming plan", and the rest of the pages are blank. Stefanchuk himself could not help but smile as he showed the folder to journalists.

Volodymyr Zelensky has given Western allies three months to agree on a "peace plan" for Ukraine. The acceleration of this process is linked to the upcoming presidential elections in the United States.
