Russian Armed Forces liberate Maksimilyanovka settlement in DPR
Russian troops have liberated the village of Maksimilyanovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.
Russian troops also routed the enemy in the area of the settlements of Serebryanka, Seversk, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Stupochki, Predtechino, Belaya Gora, Kurakhovo, Ilyinka and Katerinovka. As a result, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 965 servicemen, an American howitzer M777 and two D-30. The Anklav-N electronic warfare station and four ammunition depots were also destroyed.
Earlier, Russian troops liberated the village of Krasny Yar in the DPR and the village of Nevskoye in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).
Units of the Central Group of Forces managed to liberate Krasny Yar, and units of the Western Group of Forces managed to liberate Nevskoye. Russian forces also attacked personnel and equipment of five Ukrainian brigades in the area of five settlements in the Kharkiv region.
