How the capital's digital services help parents during the school year
An indispensable assistant for parents and students is the "electronic diary". In addition to displaying current grades, homework, class schedules and extracurricular activities, you can also track attendance, get full information about the course progress, current events and send requests for certificates of study. And if a student misses classes due to illness, information about his absence is automatically reflected in his electronic journal.
With the help of the Student Portfolio service of the Ministry of Education and Science, parents can view information about their child's education, creative abilities, sports achievements, results of state exams and information about participation in Olympiads. This service can also be useful for 11th-grade students. It contains information about well-known universities, specialties and faculties, displays budget places and passing scores. For the Unified National Exam, recommended universities and specializations are automatically selected based on the selected subjects, results of the trial and final exam.
The safety of students is a concern for all parents without exception. Therefore, using the Moskvёnok card, parents can find out when their child arrived at school, when he or she left school, and what he or she ate in the cafeteria. This data is reflected on the Moscow Mayor’s portal or in one of several city mobile applications: My Moscow, Moscow State Services, and the Emergencies Ministry Diary. Parents can also select and order food from the menu based on the child’s taste preferences, set daily spending limits, and limit the purchase of certain types of food from the buffet.
For the convenience of parents and schoolchildren, the Moskvenok card can be linked to the Muscovite card, and schoolchildren will be able to take only one card with them when traveling on public transport.
The Museums for Children project will help introduce children to culture. Thanks to this project, more than 100 Moscow museums are open to schoolchildren and students free of charge. Access to the selected museum is provided by the Moskvenok card and other identifiers, as well as the Moskvich card.
The Moscow library service allows students to find and reserve the books they need online at any library in the capital. To do this, you will need to get a single library card, which can then be used as a Muscovite card and "Moskvenok".
Taking part in the Olympiad is an important element of the educational process for students. To register and participate in intellectual competitions, the Ministry of Education and Science created the Olympiad service, with the help of which students from leading schools can learn about all available events. After registering for the Olympiad, students will receive information and reminders from the organizers via an electronic diary.
The city pays special attention to high school students who are about to take important exams. You can register for the State Final Attestation, the final essay, and the interview in Russian on the mos.ru portal. In addition, students who are unable to attend the exam can apply for readmission through the online portal. Exam results are also available to students through the MES Student Portfolio service.
The capital's digital service, developed by the Moscow Ministry of Information Technology, is being created to make life easier and more convenient for parents and students.
