HC Sibir from Novosibirsk demanded that a businessman pay 100 thousand rubles for a “mini-T-shirt” with the club’s logo.
Novosibirsk hockey club "Sibir" filed a lawsuit against a businessman from the Volga region for selling the club's "Mini-Jersey" on the Ozon market. "Sib.fm" learned about this from the decision of the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
According to the court decision, "Sibir" allegedly saw on Ozon a car suspension on suction cups with a picture of snowflakes and the inscription "SIBERIAN HOCKEY CLUB". NOVOSIBIRSK", cost 620 rubles. The process of checking the goods was recorded on video.
The club itself did not give the businessman permission to use its symbols on products and filed a lawsuit for violating his exclusive rights. "Sibir" demanded that the man pay 100 thousand rubles.
The seller of the mini jersey did not agree with the bill. Let me explain that the club has no evidence. According to him, the date when the violation was recorded is not specified. He also believed that the amount of compensation allowed cannot be twice the amount of income that can be received from the prize. That is, the businessman is ready to pay 1240 rubles.
However, the court sided with the club and partially satisfied their demands. The seller was charged 10,000 rubles from Ozon.
