TASS: Murder of a military man in Moscow region was planned and was a contract killing
The murder of soldiers in the Moscow region was planned and ordered in advance, a police source told TASS.
Law enforcement officials said the soldier's route was being tracked. He did not provide any other details about the incident.
The incident occurred on the morning of October 16 in the village of Melenki in the Solnechnogorsk urban district. An unknown person fired at least three shots from his car into the driver's window of a car driven by a 44-year-old local resident. The man died on the spot.
A case of murder and illegal arms trafficking has been opened on this matter. Citing law enforcement agencies, the media reported that the deceased was the deputy commander of a military unit in the Northern Military District and returned to Korea a week ago.
