Products for the New Year's table have increased in price by 1.43%
The price of a set of products for the New Year's table increased by 1.43% to 11,740,000 rubles.
According to TASS, prices for New Year's tableware sets in Russia have increased by 1.43% compared to last year. According to the Rusprodsoyuz association, the price of products for the October holidays of 2024 was 11,740 rubles. The set includes such products as red caviar, red fish, various types of sausages, cheese, mayonnaise, apples, bananas, oranges and champagne.
The price of red caviar has decreased by 3.8% compared to last year, amounting to 6,030 rubles per kilogram, and the price of red fish has increased by 7%, reaching 1,161.2 rubles per kilogram. Champagne prices have also increased. Costs have increased by 8.8% to 503.6 rubles per liter.
Sausage prices have also increased. The price of semi-smoked sausages and cooked-smoked sausages increased by 7.5%, amounting to 669.9 rubles per kilogram. The price of cooked sausage increased by 8.1% and costs 538.2 rubles per kilogram. The cost of dry-cured sausages increased by 9.5%, reaching 1280.5 rubles per kilogram.
In addition, the price of cheese increased by 8.1% to 822.4 rubles/kg, mayonnaise – by 3.86% to 286.9 rubles/kg. Apples increased in price by 18.8% to 142.2 rubles per kilogram, bananas increased in price by 3.5% to 145.3 rubles/kg. However, the price of oranges decreased by 12.15% and now amounts to 159.8 rubles per kilogram.
Earlier, analysts calculated the cost of the New Year's table in "The Irony of Fate". In 2021, the price of the "New Year's set", which includes an artificial Christmas tree, garland, a set of Christmas tree balls, stars, tinsel, a bottle of champagne and tangerines, increased by 19% over the year, reaching almost 5,000 rubles. . . In 2020, Russians spent an average of 6.7 thousand rubles on food and drinks for the New Year's table, and prices for holiday sets increased by 4.56% over the entire year.
