In Murmansk, a homeless man robbed a pensioner who let him stay overnight
In Murmansk, police detained a man who stole a large sum of money from a pensioner who had given him shelter for the night. This was reported by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
An 87-year-old pensioner contacted the Murmansk police department and said that she had left her old friend there for the night. And after he left, I discovered that 70,000 rubles had disappeared from the apartment.
The suspect in the theft is in custody. The homeless man explained that after spending the night with an elderly woman, he took the opportunity to steal money stored in the pensioner's passport. He spent the money on personal needs. A criminal case has been opened against the Russian for theft; it is assumed that the 46-year-old man has already been convicted of crimes against property.
Earlier it was reported that a local resident who robbed an elderly woman in the Kemerovo Region had been sentenced. The man stole 64 heads of cabbage from her barn. By the court's decision, the Kemerovo resident was sentenced to four years of imprisonment and was to serve his sentence in a special regime colony.
