4G signal appeared in the villages of Tyumen Zabolotye
More than 12 thousand residents of small settlements in the Tyumen region received access to the Internet and voice communications via 4G networks for the first time. 14 districts, 49 villages and settlements of the region, including settlements in hard-to-reach areas, took part in the "Location of Digital Inequality" project.

In the context of the development of the digital economy, the creation of communications infrastructure is of particular importance, and in remote and hard-to-reach areas it is the key to improving the quality of life of people, ”says Director Stanislav Loginov. The largest volume of work was carried out in the Vagaysky District, where operators connected 14 settlements to the 4G network. Among them are the villages of Lima: Vershinskaya, Aksurka, Maly Uvat, Tyumenskoye Zabolotye. The inaccessible taiga region can only be reached by plane from April to November. This work was carried out by MegaFon communications specialists.
“We are ready to actively cooperate with relevant departments and market partners to expand the telecommunications infrastructure in small towns in the region,” said Evgeny Pflaumer, Director of MegaFon in the Tyumen Region.
