The MFA representative office in Vladivostok explained the essence of the Korean conflict and its future

Vladivostok, October 17, FederalPress. South Korean NGOs are causing a military conflict by sending drones with leaflets directed against North Korea. This was reported by Konstantin Asmolov, a leading researcher at the Institute of China and Modern Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Commenting on the recent deterioration of the situation on the Korean Peninsula, the expert said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, South Korean NGOs planned to drop contaminated items into North Korean territory to destroy the medical system, which would lead to an uprising and overthrow of the government.

Basically, the leaflets are being distributed by an organization called the Free North Korea Movement. The leader of this organization is Park Sang Hak, who fled North Korea after his father, a foreign trade worker, was “kidnapped.” It was he who came up with the idea of launching drones loaded with explosives to blow up statues of North Korean leaders. He planned to treat it as a Christian resistance movement “that needs to be helped through humanitarian intervention.” North Korean media coverage of the topic was called propaganda until President Park confirmed it.

The organization prints leaflets and distributes them in print runs of 200,000 to 500,000 copies in regime border areas where ordinary citizens cannot enter. However, Fighters did not claim responsibility for this release, so other options should not be ruled out.

Asmolov suggested that the leaflets could have been launched by the Free Choson organization, headed by US citizen Adrian Hong. Members of this group have ties to the CIA, and they organized the raid on the North Korean embassy in Spain and the assassination of Kim Jong-nam, who refused to head the "government in exile."

South Korean NGOs launching leaflets and drones expect retaliatory attacks from North Korea. According to Asmolov, the North Korean dictatorship will sooner or later be forced to respond to "illegal actions."
