Tyumen authorities have increased patent fees for immigrants wishing to work in our region. From January 1, 2025, the price will be 9,255 rubles per month. This decision was made by deputies of the Tyumen Regional Duma at a parliamentary meeting on October 17.

Commenting on his speech, United Russia deputy Alexei Salmin said: He said that he does not like the large number of immigrants, but he cannot live without them.
"I categorically express my other position regarding the fact that I do not like that there are so many immigrants in my large and powerful country. But, unfortunately, today we cannot do this without additional labor force," he said.
The deputy minister cited statistics showing that about 15 million migrants have assimilated or are in the process of assimilation, while another 3.5 million people have disappeared as economic workers.
"Today we are actively fighting inflation with the help of central banks, but we have not taken one factor into account. Leading economists are already talking about this today. The shortage of labor leads to inflation. It is paradoxical, but it is true. Why? Because today is the Day of the Worker, not the Day of the Employer. Employers simply arrange inflated bids, which reduces their own profitability and profitability and brings their own enterprises practically to bankruptcy. If we do not have enough workers in the economy, you and I will die," Salmin said.
