A man opened fire on police officers during a search in the Kemerovo region.
In the Kemerovo Region, a resident of Belovo opened fire on police officers during a search. This was reported to Lenta.ru by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The man is accused of committing a crime under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer"). According to investigators, on the morning of October 15, the police arrived at the home of the defendant in the fraud case and conducted a search, but the defendant fired at least once at the direction of law enforcement officers to stop the search. As a result, there were no injuries.
The question of bringing to justice is being decided. The investigation will petition for a preventive measure in the form of detention for the man.
Earlier in the Moscow region it was reported that police opened fire while pursuing a driver.
