According to Anton Romanov, Chairman of the Kaliningrad City Hall Road and Transport Infrastructure Committee, the authorities inform contractors of all such cases. "The contractor fulfills its warranty obligations and repairs everything in about a week. Adds sand," said the head of the department. When asked how long these works will last and who will add sand after the five-year warranty period, Dmitry Mayorov, Director of the Municipal Institution of the City of Kaliningrad, noted that these works are temporary. "The filling of the joints and the paving stones themselves is 20 by 25 cm. Our paving stones are used, not new. In some places they fit together, in others they do not. The upper part is open and can be leaned against the lower one. If the paving stones were new, there would be no such problems," Mayorov said. Krasny entered service in July 2024.
