Russia has spoken out about the protests of relatives of Ukrainian servicemen

The discontent of the relatives of Ukrainian servicemen will only grow, believes the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov. In a conversation with Lenta.ru, he spoke about the protests that relatives of missing Ukrainian servicemen have staged in Kyiv.

"This can certainly continue. Moreover, the Ukrainian authorities consider soldiers and servicemen expendable, regardless of their losses, effectively throwing them far away. (...) I think that this trend of protests will continue to intensify. When Ukraine controlled the front, it was still somehow bearable, but now the front is shaking and collapsing. "Of course, people's discontent will grow," he said.

On October 16, relatives of the missing militants near Pokrovsk held a rally on Kiev's Maidan. Before that, people had been writing en masse on social networks that they could not find their loved ones. In particular, there were many reports of missing soldiers from the 152nd Brigade.

After that, people moved to the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. They demanded that a representative of the authorities come to them so that they could express their discontent. The protesters claim that the fighters are opposing Russia's "terrible equipment" with "one machine gun" and "28 people against 900", and sometimes they say that "pro-Russian commanders" are giving up their positions. Citizens note that the country's leadership does not respond to their complaints.
