An earthquake has occurred in eastern Turkey
Turkey's Disaster Management Agency said an earthquake measuring about 6.0 on the Richter scale had struck. The tremors were felt in three eastern provinces: Malatya, Diyarbakir and Elazig. RIA Novosti reports that the epicenter was in Malatya province near the city of Kale.
The locals who ran out into the streets because of this earthquake were in a state of panic. There is no information about destruction or damage to buildings at the moment. The authorities claim that there are no victims or injured.
