An unknown person doused a woman's hotel room in southwest Moscow with gasoline and set it on fire. SHOT REPORT.

According to the Telegram channel, the incident occurred on the evening of October 16 at the four-star Astrus Hotel on Leninsky Prospekt. An unknown person poured flammable liquid on the furniture, walls, and door of a room on the 18th floor and set it on fire. Fortunately, there were no guests in the room. The fire extinguishing system was activated, the fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no casualties. Despite this, firefighters still arrived at the scene, and several bottles with liquid residue were found in the room. According to eyewitnesses, the floor still smelled strongly of gasoline.

The police are currently working at the hotel, checking the hotel cameras and trying to establish all the circumstances of the incident.

"Astrus" is located in the former building of the Central House of Tourists. The hotel opened for the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Now the cost of a room in the hotel starts from 6000 rubles.
