The fate of the lions that tore apart a park employee has been revealed

The lions in the safari park "Krymsky Taigan" that tore apart the staff will not be euthanized. This was stated by the park's director Oleg Zubkov in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

"They do not forgive human mistakes, they are predators and remain predators, so they act according to their instincts and rules," he explained. The agency's interlocutors named the human factor as the cause of the incident. He noted that the woman had worked in the park for many years and was familiar with predators.

The tragedy occurred on the morning of October 16. Taigan manager Leokadia Perevalova went into the enclosure to clean it, but forgot to lock the door between the two rooms. Apparently, the lions discovered the passage and attacked her.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of labor protection requirements due to negligence”).
