The army has revealed how winter will change the situation in the SVO zone: “It hinders the offensive and defense”

Moscow, October 17, FederalPress. The actions of Russian troops in the Special Operations Zone of Ukraine will not change after the onset of winter. Alexander, a Russian soldier, told FederalPress how the weather affects the course of military operations.

"The era when climate conditions had a significant impact on military operations ended after World War II, but even then it did not have a significant impact. Everything depends on how the army is supplied. "Equipment has long been able to work in winter, and with today's technology, people can also fight normally," he said.

In winter, fighting continues along the entire front. The officer recalled that Russian troops began an offensive on Bakhmut in December 2022. In February of this year, Russian troops liberated Avdiivka.

Winter in Donbass has been quite warm in recent years, with snow falling only in late January and early February. It may be colder in the Kursk direction, but this will not affect the combat capability of the troops, says the author of the Telegram channel "Supplier of Souls".

Let me remind you that earlier the military spoke about a new offensive in the Kursk region.
