Sverdlovsk authorities to sell a quarter of shares of Irbit dairy plant
The Sverdlovsk Region authorities are planning to sell 25% of the shares of the Irbit Dairy Plant. Such plans are included in the program for the privatization of state property in the region for 2024 and the planning period for 2025 and 2026. This was reported by the Department of Information Policy.
"The committee discussed changes in the program for managing state property in the Sverdlovsk region and the privatization of state facilities in the region... In particular, the plan to sell 25% of the shares of the joint venture in the Irbit Dairy Plant was discussed. The message "OOO" will appear.
The Minister of Agro-Industrial Complex and Consumer Markets of the region Anna Kuznetsova emphasized that the company has developed a large-scale investment program for the modernization of production facilities, which is necessary to attract non-state funds. The region will have a 26% share in the authorized capital, which will allow it to participate in decision-making.
It was Smart Project that won the 2023 auction of the Sverdlovsk Region government to sell 49% of the shares of the Irbit Dairy Plant. It offered the highest price - 1.1758 billion rubles, compared to the starting price of 1.17 billion rubles.
