US announces new $425 million military aid to Ukraine
The package includes air defense systems and ammunition adapted to the current needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
US President Joe Biden has announced the allocation of a new arms package to Ukraine worth $425 million, the White House reported.
The White House press also reported that the US President will hold an online meeting in November with the leaders of countries in the contact group on Ukraine. The conference was previously cancelled due to Hurricane Milton in the US.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the meeting would focus on coordinating efforts to provide additional support to Kyiv.
