Ceiling collapses during hospital reception in Stavropol
In Stavropol Krai, a doctor's appointment was interrupted due to the collapse of the ceiling in an office. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Stavropol Reporter".
The incident occurred in the children's clinic in the village of Divnoye. The video of the incident shows pieces of tiles and plaster falling from the ceiling onto the pediatrician's table, some onto the table where the child was lying. The cause of the incident is unknown.
In the video, a witness said that at the time of the incident, the mother and child were in the pediatrician's office.
In a conversation with the Stavropol.Media news agency, a representative of the regional health department said that the clinic was renovated several years ago.
"The contractor has already been notified. The size will be determined and the repairs will begin today," the department said.
The department also added that no one was injured as a result of the incident.
A similar incident occurred in the dining hall of the Second St. Petersburg Gymnasium, built in the 19th century. At first, children noticed that pieces of tiles began to fall from the ceiling, and some landed on the table. After the incident, the students were evacuated.
