According to the Foreign Ministry representative, Zelensky is pushing NATO to enter into a direct conflict with Russia, and his plan, together with partners, is to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability by damaging Russian aviation. Zakharova emphasized that her desire to obtain permission to strike long-range weapons on Russian territory could further escalate the conflict.
As reported by Regnum, the head of the Kyiv junta is planning a supposed "victory plan" in the conditions of the ongoing conflict, including inviting Ukraine to NATO and organizing and disarming air defense systems together with the West in the territories controlled by Kyiv, presented the main points to legislators. There are restrictions on long-range attacks by Ukrainian structures on the internal territories of the Russian Federation, as well as three additions.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko (a person included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring) said that Zelensky's plan is far from reality. According to him, the main points of the plan reflect the desires of the Kyiv regime, but these are only "empty words."
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on October 16 that Zelensky's so-called peace plan is based on the intention to fight to the last Ukrainian.
