A project for moving the Farforovsky post for the high-speed railway has been prepared in St. Petersburg

A draft order has been prepared in St. Petersburg to include the Farforovsky Post, a historical area of the Frunzensky District, in the list of cultural heritage sites. This step will preserve the building, but will also allow it to be moved during the construction of the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed railway.

On October 15, the National Commission for the Use and Protection of Monuments (KGIOP) issued a draft order to conduct an anti-corruption investigation at the site. The document approves the boundaries and use of the territory, which contains seven surviving red brick buildings built in the early 20th century. Among them is the station building, located on the other side of the tracks.

The Porcelain Post has become the second problematic point in the HSR project after the Kokorev depot on Ligovsky Prospekt, which is also planned for the construction of the terminal. The Council for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage recommended assigning the Porcelain Post the status of a monument, prohibiting its demolition but allowing the relocation of the building.

A working group will be created to further study this issue. Previously, the land under the houses on the territory of the Farforovsky outpost was subject to confiscation, about which residents were notified in June last year.

Earlier, 78.ru wrote that it would issue bonds for 122 billion rubles to finance the Moscow-Saint Petersburg high-speed railway.
