Thousands of pensioners have already received additional payments: the Social Fund has provided details
The increased payment is provided for non-working pensioners who have worked in agriculture for at least 30 years. The Social Fund increases the amount of old-age or disability insurance pension for such workers through higher additional payments.
Work in the agricultural sector is taken into account when determining the right to additional payments. There are about 500 specialties and positions, the list of which is approved by government decree. For example, the list includes positions such as machine operator, veterinarian, agricultural machinery repairman, beekeeper, agronomist, etc.
In this case, the funding includes a certain period of internship in rural areas, regardless of specialty or position. In particular, all work was carried out in collective farms, state farms, peasant farms and agricultural cooperatives until 1992.
To receive an increased pension, time spent caring for a newborn is also taken into account if agricultural work is interrupted due to menstruation. In total, this may include up to 6 years of experience, i.e. caring for 4 children (1.5 years for each child).
"Today, 732 thousand villagers receive increased pensions," the Russian Social Fund reported. The amount paid to them averages 26.5 thousand rubles per month," he says.
Experts clearly state that only residents of villages and towns can apply for such a pension supplement. People living in cities and towns do not enjoy this right. After the supplement is established, its increase can only be expected in the event of the transfer of rural areas to urban conditions.
This year, 16,000 villagers across the country received increased pensions from social funds. Like most payments, bonuses for pensioners working in rural areas are indexed annually.
