Donald Trump's campaign team has sharply criticized Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris' interview on Fox News, calling it a "disaster." Campaign spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said in an interview that Harris appears unable to handle pressure, appears irritable, and is unwilling to take responsibility for the problems Americans face, TASS reported.
The Trump campaign said in a statement that Harris' presidential campaign was based on lies about Donald Trump and that Harris failed to clearly answer questions from host Brett Baier during the interview.
The Republican headquarters expressed confidence that Harris would not be able to withstand the pressure of being US president.
Kamala Harris became the first Democratic presidential candidate in eight years to give an interview to Fox News. Biden was initially mentioned as the Democratic nominee, but after losing the debate with Trump, he decided to drop out of the race and endorsed Harris, who was confirmed as the nominee at the convention in Chicago.
As Vzglyad newspaper reported, US Vice President Kamala Harris said that if elected, she would not continue Biden's line, but would present her own approach to governing the country, and also expressed confidence in the need for continued international support to strengthen national security.
