Kyiv disappointed by West's refusal to open 'second front' against Russia

The Kiev regime no longer expects such behavior from its allies, Podolyak said. "Obviously, Ukraine will not wait for its allies to open a "second front," TASS said in a statement.

At the same time, advisers to the head of the Ukrainian state expressed hope for increased anti-Russian sanctions.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said it was unlikely that Russia could be forced into a ceasefire by military means.
