France has refused to pay Kyiv 3 billion euros in military aid
Moscow, October 16, FederalPress. French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced plans to cut financial support for Kyiv from 3 billion euros to 2 billion euros, citing a budget deficit, Politico reports.
Lecornu noted that these measures are mandatory due to the current economic situation in the country.
Politico also notes that France is not the only country facing the problem of declining support for Ukraine. Germany is experiencing similar economic difficulties and should reconsider its commitments.
Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense Sabrina Singh spoke about the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine. Sabrina Singh noted that America's arms reserves are unlimited. According to her, they were not replenished in time, which created a burden on the system.
