"The ex-wife never left there": how relatives searched for a fisherman who had been drifting at sea for two months

Mikhail's ex-wife Ekaterina has been talking to journalists all day. The woman said that her little daughter was supposed to go to the sea with her father. But the girl changed her mind. Her mother bought her a ticket to Krasnoyarsk, and she flew.

"I haven't spoken to my dad yet," Mikhail's daughter said. "I just know he's in the hospital. My dad has never been in extreme situations, but he's a hunter and fisherman and has great survival skills. I still don't know when my dad will come home.

Ekaterina confirmed that she was waiting for a call from Mikhail. "The doctors haven't called us yet. And no one has called. I hope we can talk."

"At the time of our conversation, Mikhail's mother also knew nothing about her son's condition. "We won't tell you anything today and, unfortunately, we won't find out ourselves. "It's too late for us," Nadezhda said in a tired voice.

A family friend told Natalia Pichugina's family what was happening in the meantime. "Natalia was in St. Petersburg, where her sister was being treated, when her son and husband went missing. Natalia was constantly traveling to Komsomolsk-on-Amur, where helicopters and planes were flying in to search. She asked them not to stop searching. It was important that she was nearby. She was afraid that the search would stop if she was not there. Natalia had already been forcibly sent from home to Krasnoyarsk, but she returned. Her brother was next to her and supported her. When the helicopter stopped flying, she did not calm down and constantly called investigators and contacted a psychologist so that the search would not be interrupted. But the mountain will not move at her request. Since the main search was suspended, Natasha hired a boat at her own expense and took a cruise along the coast. It was very expensive. Thanks to them, psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked with her. She took sedatives. She was in a terrible state. It is hard to imagine what is happening to her now. She spent so much time there and hoped for the last time. As far as I know, she recently returned from there and said: The most unpleasant thing is that nothing was found..."
