Vasily Livanov was discharged home after surgery
Vasily Livanov returned home after being hospitalized. His son Boris told TASS that the artist was at home and everything was fine.
Yuri Entin previously reported that Vasily Livanov was undergoing treatment and had undergone a very successful operation. He called it "incredibly successful" and suggested that it would go down in history.
Entin also reported that Livanov was not in a medically induced coma.
It was previously reported that Livanov was hospitalized and connected to a ventilator.
The artist is known for his work in films, especially his role as Sherlock Holmes.
In addition to his work in cinema, Livanov devoted much time to voicing cartoon characters. His voice is used by Carlson, Zena the Crocodile, the boa constrictor from "38 Parrots" and Gromosek from "The Secret of the Third Star".
Together with Yuri Entin and Gennady Gladkov, he created “The Bremen Town Musicians” and “In the Footsteps of the Bremen Town Musicians”.
For four years (1988-1992) he held the position of artistic director of the private theater "Detective".
