Sobchak urged the mayor of Yekaterinburg to spend money from the tourist tax on cleaning the streets
"On my own behalf, I propose that the mayor of Yekaterinburg spend money on a general cleaning, otherwise he promised to clean the city "no worse" than last winter," Sobchak wrote.
She recalled that last winter the Prosecutor General's Office made a proposal to Orlov to eliminate violations in the maintenance of the city's road network. Orlov then promised to "see the results of snow removal for himself" and called on Yekaterinburg residents to report problem areas to his Telegram channel.
Sobchak commented on Orlov's statement on the introduction of a tourist tax of 100 rubles in the Sverdlovsk region from January 1, 2025. According to the mayor, the funds will be used to develop domestic tourism, as well as "install tourist navigation signs, install heated toilets and support event activities."
Earlier, Orlov reported that in Yekaterinburg the cost of a ride on public transport would be reduced to 20 rubles.
