"Baroque music is graceful and refined, with many ornaments and trills. This era gave birth to various genres of classical music, including opera, oratorio and cantata," the organizers say about the idea of the program.
Tonight, an aria and an organ solo will be performed. A retrospective of the 17th century with soloists and performers from the Philharmonic will allow guests to enjoy “harmonious music that will immerse guests in the sounds of an era that left an indelible mark on world culture.”
