Details of the death of a tourist in a rockfall in Altai have become known
GORNO-ALTAISK, October 15, FederalPress. Investigators have opened an investigation into the death of a young tourist in the Altai Republic after a group of young people were caught in a rockfall. This was reported by the press service of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The police explained that the body of the dead girl will be taken for examination after delivery. Investigators must also identify the organizers of the tourist trips that resulted in the victims of the tourist groups. According to the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the area is difficult to access.
Let me remind you that the day before, in the Kurai Mountains, students of the Novosibirsk State University were injured by falling rocks. As a result, an 18-year-old tourist from Verdsk died, and two tourists received injuries of varying severity.
