The court banned the operation of the Aquatoria water complex in Vladivostok
Earlier, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against the owner to eliminate numerous violations of fire and industrial safety. Apparently, it was discovered during a detailed inspection after the collapse of the ceiling structure above the heads of visitors in the main hall, where the pool and bath were located. (A criminal case is already under investigation in connection with the collapse and the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.)
As part of the lawsuit, the prosecution sought an interim injunction to stop the aquarium from operating. The court granted this, stating:
VladRetail LLC is a company linked to urban development magnate Boris Pozdnyakov, who is currently wanted internationally in connection with an investigation into land fraud. It commissioned the complex. And the religious group will likely use part of the building it acquired before deciding to open a complex in the building with saunas, a swimming pool, a spa, a bar and other services.
This decision may be appealed, but will be executed immediately after its adoption in accordance with Article 142 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
At the time of publication, no information about the upcoming closure appeared on the official page of "Akvatoria" and Telegram channel. The department notes that no documents, including the results of the inspection of the supervisory agency or the decision of the prosecutor's office, were received by the Ministry of Justice, and the management of the water complex learned about this process only through the press and social networks. network. After the incident, when the decorative partition over the pool collapsed, similar structures were dismantled throughout the complex, and the management was also informed that all other structures and systems were subjected to additional internal control and recognized as safe. Representatives of "Akvatoria" cooperated with the authorities involved in the inspection, according to the official channels of the water complex.
