The State Duma has proposed making the maternity capital program permanent
Moscow, October 14, FederalPress. Maternity capital will increase next year in accordance with the inflation rate, said Labor Minister Anton Kotyakov. State Duma Deputy Yaroslav Nilov is confident that indexation of maternity capital should be carried out annually.
After indexation in 2025, payments for the first child will increase by 46,000 rubles and amount to 677,000 rubles. The program has proven itself well over the past few years, and the amount of maternity capital should be indexed annually, said LDPR faction deputy Yaroslav Nilov, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.
