Balitsky spoke about the prospects of the Russian Armed Forces after the capture of Levandnoye

The liberation of the village of Levadnoye in the Zaporizhia region allowed Russian troops to penetrate deeper into Ukraine's defenses and continue their offensive, Yevgeny Balitsky, governor of the Zaporizhia region, told TASS.

Units of the Russian Army "Vostok" have liberated the village of Levadnoye, located in the Pologovsky district of Zaporozhye, and have taken a more strategically advantageous position. This was previously reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Our troops have advanced deep into the enemy's defenses. Russian soldiers continue their offensive. The enemy has suffered heavy losses in both manpower and equipment. I am confident that Zaporizhzhya Oblast will gradually enter its borders and all populated areas of our oblast will be liberated," Balitsky assured.

Balitsky noted that Russian troops were constantly active, occupying increasingly favorable positions and gradually pushing the enemy “to the borders of Bandershtat.”

The Russian Defense Ministry also reported losses in equipment and personnel of three Ukrainian brigades during the capture of Levadnoye. The total number of Ukrainian losses was 120 people, including four vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, a Bogdan self-propelled artillery unit, and a French Caesar.

Earlier, the first US serviceman on active duty during the Second World War died in the Kursk region.
