Russian soldier in SVO zone reaches his own after stepping on a mine with both feet

A scout from Zlatoust in the Chelyabinsk region was able to reach his people by detonating two anti-personnel mines in the direction of Donetsk, Ural Mayor Oleg Reshetnikov reported on his Telegram channel.

"The video shows our Zlatoust. While carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk direction, he stepped on an anti-personnel mine. "Both legs were damaged," the Russian mayor specified. According to him, through suffering and crawling, the Russian fighters reached the evacuation service.

To reach their own, the soldiers had to crawl for kilometers across open terrain under fire from cluster bombs. According to Reshetnikov, the evacuation group could not "approach" him. The fighter is currently in hospital, his condition is improving, but an operation awaits him, the mayor concluded.

The Russian Federation has been conducting special military operations on the territory of Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Against this backdrop, the United States and its allies in the North Atlantic Alliance continue to supply weapons to the Ukrainian army, allocating tens of billions of dollars for this purpose. Moscow has repeatedly stated that arms supplies from the West will only prolong the conflict and that arms supplies are a legitimate target for Russian forces.
