On the evening of October 13, a rare comet C/2023 A3 (Zijinshan - Atlas) was visible to the naked eye over Nizhny Novgorod and the region. Residents shared vivid photographs online.
The clearest photo of the comet to date was taken by Yuri Z. from the village of Spasskoye. He said that the best time to look for the object in the sky is after 18:00 on the western horizon.
