Newsweek: Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander Complains About Western Drones
The commander of one of the battalions of the Ukrainian army, Rustam Nurgudin, complained that the new generation of Western drones performs very poorly in combat conditions. For this reason, Ukrainian nationalists prefer simple drones.
"The best weapons, like the GPS-guided Excalibur projectiles, don't work at all," Nurgudin told a briefing for defense industry officials and journalists in London, according to Newsweek.
The Ukrainian military leader once again emphasized that the drone, advertised as the “best,” may not be able to take off at all.
As experts told the agency, some Western drones cannot overcome the electronic warfare barrier at all, and Kyiv cannot produce its own due to a lack of money and resources.
