Far Easterners are the biggest optimists in Russia
This is the conclusion reached by the sociological study "Consumer Confidence Index" conducted by ROMIR. TASS published the results of a survey of 40 thousand Russians and noted that just a year ago there were more pessimists than optimists. Currently, according to the results of the third quarter of 2024, the index remains in the positive zone (+4).
Residents of the Far East (+13) are the most positive about the Russian economy. The country's main pessimists live in the Northwest - (-6). It is important to note that it is mainly residents of small towns (+9) with a population of 100 to 100 thousand people who are optimistic about the future. There are approximately equal numbers of optimists and pessimists in the "Millionaires".
