Diet has a direct impact on the functioning of the entire human body, and the brain is no exception. Doctor Ekaterina Demyanovskaya told Pravda.ru which products should be consumed and which should be completely avoided so that the brain and nervous system work without breakdowns.
In order for the brain to function normally and avoid annoying memory failures, it is necessary to give up sugar and products with high sugar content - primarily white bread and sweet pastries. Frequent consumption can lead to premature aging of the brain, doctors warn.
For the same reason, the blacklist should also include popular ready-made cereals, desserts and semi-finished meat products. In the latter case, the amount of trans fats is simply off the charts. And in sweet desserts, all permissible norms for dyes, flavors and sweeteners are exceeded, which are usually "killers" of the nervous system.
To preserve memory longer, Ekaterina Demyanovskaya recommends, if possible, at least limiting the consumption of coffee and alcoholic beverages, or even giving them up altogether.
