Thus, a 46-year-old resident of Krasnodar became a victim of fraudsters and transferred more than 1.3 million rubles to them. A person who introduced himself as an employee of Rosfinmonitoring contacted her by phone. He transferred the call to a bank employee after reporting the attackers' attempts to apply for a loan in her name. The fake financier convinced the Krasnodar resident to take out several loans and transfer the money received to a special bank account, which led to significant financial losses.

A criminal case on charges of fraud has been opened based on these facts. The police are trying to establish the identity and location of the fraudsters, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Krasnodar reported.

Let me remind you that another resident of Krasnodar had previously fallen for the trick of telephone scammers. A stranger called her via messenger and introduced himself as an employee of the Central Bank. He said that the scammers had issued loans in the name of the interlocutor and in order to prevent this, he personally persuaded her to take out a loan from the bank in the amount of 2 million 155 thousand rubles.
