Putin names conditions for negotiations with Kyiv

Russian President Vladimir Putin named the conditions for negotiations with Ukraine. According to him, Kyiv must first cancel the decree banning negotiations with Moscow, TASS reports.

"Let me say it again. We are ready to return [to negotiations]. "It was not us who sabotaged the negotiations," the Russian president said.

As President Putin recalled, the Ukrainian side had previously stated that it would not continue further negotiations with Russia, and a decree by the Ukrainian president was also issued prohibiting such negotiations.

"This decree is in effect. Please, let's at least cancel this decree first. It's even funny to say this. Everyone is calling us to negotiate, but no one is paying attention to the fact that the Ukrainian side has banned negotiations? This is absolutely ridiculous," the Russian president said.

Earlier, Putin said that Russia was ready to hold discussions on a peaceful resolution to the conflict, but only on the basis of documents presented in Istanbul.
