Putin called the SVO a "war of mathematicians" between Russia and NATO

Participants of special operations (SO) consider modern war as a "battle of mathematicians". This was stated by the President of the Russian Federation, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the heads of leading media of the BRICS member countries.

"They have been saying lately that modern combat is a battle of skills. Today I have already heard from our combatants that modern war is a "war of mathematicians," the Russian leader noted.

The President explained that electronic warfare suppresses weapons. Then the enemy understands how the enemy's electronic warfare systems work, counteracts them and changes the software of its offensive weapons. Putin noted that the software update process will continue indefinitely. But, in his opinion, the Ukrainian army cannot do this and NATO mathematicians update it. However, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief emphasized that the Russian army does everything on its own.

President Vladimir Putin had previously stated that Russia was ready to continue armed struggle. The head of state noted that the Russian army, unlike the Ukrainian one, fights and creates software independently.
