In the Kaliningrad region, 299 fathers are on maternity leave. Klops learned about this on the eve of Father's Day at the Russian Social Fund of the Kaliningrad Region.
"The benefit amount is 40% of the man's average earnings for the two years preceding the year of leave, but not less than 9,227 rubles and not more than 49,123 rubles," the department said.
Unemployed parents also have the right to social support if they do not receive unemployment benefits. In this case, the payment amount is 9,227 rubles per month. You can submit an application on the State Services Portal, at the MFC or at the client service of the SFR branch in the Kaliningrad Region.
“Benefits are distributed based on a comprehensive assessment of needs, taking into account family income, property security and the employment of parents (excluding full-time students),” the Russian Social Fund of the Kaliningrad Region reported.
Father's Day is celebrated every year in many countries. In Russia, it is celebrated on the third Sunday of October since 2021.
