Outbreaks of pneumonia recorded in 16 regions of Russia

Usually, infectious pneumonia is detected. Rospotrebnadzor noted that the main cause of the disease is mycoplasma.

Since mid-October, an increase in the incidence rate has been observed in Komi, Udmurtia, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Pskov, Kostroma, Vologda, Leningrad Region, Altai and Krasnoyarsk Territories, Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo. - In the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Kamchatka.

The incidence rate in Tomsk Oblast is three times higher than the Russian average. About 1,000 cases have been registered in the region. Nine educational institutions have switched to distance learning. Most of the patients are children under 17.

In Yekaterinburg, 29 out of 168 schools switched to distance learning due to pneumonia. In the Vologda Region, 280 cases of community-acquired pneumonia were registered. This figure exceeds the figure for the previous week by 18%.

In Izhevsk, 510 cases of infection have been registered in a week, the incidence rate is 82.42 per 100 thousand people. In the Zavyalovsky district of Udmurtia, there are 79 cases.

Due to the increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections and community-acquired pneumonia, quarantine has been introduced in five schools in Pskov. In the Chelyabinsk region, restrictions will affect 27 educational institutions, 17 of which continue distance learning.
