Putin said NATO is fighting Russia with the hands of Ukrainian soldiers
Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with BRICS media leaders, said that NATO is using Ukrainian soldiers to conduct military operations against Russia. He noted that Kyiv does not spare its soldiers for the sake of third countries' interests.
"NATO is fighting us, but it is in the hands of Ukrainian soldiers," the Russian leader said.
Earlier, President Putin equated the use of Western long-range precision weapons by the Ukrainian army to attack Russia with NATO's direct involvement in the conflict. He explained that Kyiv would not be able to carry out such an attack on its own, meaning that the allies would press the button. The White House took President Putin's warning seriously.
