Putin says Russia will propose BRICS use digital currencies for investment
"Now we would like to propose to our colleagues. We will not go into details yet, but we would like to propose a rather serious question. This is the question of using digital currencies in the investment process," Putin is quoted as saying.
At the previous meeting, the Russian head of state noted that the BRICS countries make up 45% of the Earth's population and occupy 33% of its land. On Friday, President Putin plans to hold a meeting with the heads of the BRICS media.
