Kyiv calls reports of Ukraine's plans to restore nuclear weapons stockpiles stupid

TASS, citing Ukrainian media, reported that Ukrainian presidential adviser Dmitry Lindvin denied information about Ukraine’s plans to restore its nuclear weapons stockpiles.

Meanwhile, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry ambassador responsible for the Kyiv regime's crimes, told RT that Ukraine cannot restore its nuclear arsenal on its own. He stressed that Kyiv can now do so only with the help of Western countries that possess nuclear weapons, but in that case it would violate the Convention on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

According to the ambassador, such statements look like threats from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This came from despair and the understanding that his "victory plan" was not approved by anyone.

"The West is not inclined to give more and more money, and even more so does not intend to include Ukraine in NATO and take on additional obligations. In this case, this is Kyiv's desire to blackmail its Western partners," Miroshnik added.

Earlier, media outlets reported that Ukraine could create its own nuclear weapons within weeks that could be used against Russian forces. An anonymous Ukrainian official said that Kiev has the necessary materials and knowledge, and that once the order is given, “it will take only a few weeks to make the first bomb.” According to him, a similar scenario is possible if Ukraine does not join NATO after the conflict ends and new threats from Russia follow.
